Lava mobiles is set to enter the Quadcore Battle with its new smartphone. The new Xolo Q800 Features a smaller 4.5 inch screen when compared to other Quadcore phores. Lava is a bit late in joining the party but better be late than be sorry. Don’t confuse it to be an Intel phone. Lava has Three type of nomenclature for naming its device. The first one is the X series for Intel phones like X900 & x500, The second one is the A series like A700 & A8000 which stands for Dual core processor phones & Now this Q series for Quadcore phones.  It features a Quadcore MTK 6589 CPU with PowerVR SGX 544 GPU. Mediatek has certainly hit a Jackpot with this chip. Manufacturers are waiting in Queue to get this chip. Whoever gets it first will have an early mover advantage over others. Now coming to the Q800 it features a  4.5 inch 1920x720p  IPS Hd screen, 1 GB of Ram, Jelly Bean 4.1. There is an 8 MP camera at the back & A 2 MP front camera for video calls. Hopefully the Camera Might have a BSI sensor for better low light Shooting. It has Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient light & Magnet Sensor . The Device might be priced Rs 12000. Lava launched X900 the First intel based phone in the world in 2012. Then came the latest X500 in January this year. Lava is making its presence felt in entry level & Mid range Devices. The Company is said to be launching three more devices in the Q range in the coming months.
