Xperia SP

Sony the Japanese mobile gaint has finally lifted the lid off its two new Smartphones, the Xperia SP and Xperia L. As we had reported earlier Sony was working on these two new smartphones. Sony has decided to take the android smartphone market by storm by releasing too many models this year. All these smartphones are almost identical in specification with little difference thus creating confusing among the buyers. The Sony Xperia SP has a co-moulded aluminium frame. The Sony Xperia SP has a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960T Chipset with Dual cores @1.7 GHz and Adreno 320 Graphics. It has 1 GB of Ram, 8 GB Internal storage with micro SD card slot for expansion. The Sony Xperia SP has a display size of 4.6 inch with 1280x720 pixels resolution. The Rear Camera is a 8 MP with Exmor RS sensor with 1080P video recording capability. On the connectivity front it has Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, LTE. The US version of Xperia SP will support LTE Bands 1,2,4,5 whereas the Asian & European version supports LTE Bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20. It comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and will be available in three colours(Black,Red & White)

Xperia L

The Sony Xperia L has decent  specs with a good camer features. It sits just below the Xperia SP. The Xperia SP has a nice design. In the specs department it is powered by  Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8230 Chipset with Dual cores @1 GHz and Adreno 305 Graphics. The Xperia L has 1 GB of Ram for faster multitasking, 8 GB Internal storage with micro SD card for Expansion. It has a 4.3 inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The display is four point Multi touch. The display  protection is SCHOTT instead of the regular Corning Gorilla Glass. The rear Camera is an 8 MP Exmor RS with HDR photos and 720p video recording. UK Retailer Clove has  already started taking Pre-orders for these devices. They are supposed to be available in market from Q2 of 2013.
