HTC Myst, Another Facebook Phone By HTC

HTC The Taiwanese mobile giant is reportedly working on a new Facebook phone called The HTC Myst. Earlier HTC, Facebook & AT&T had launched The HTC Status Facebook phone with a dedicated Facebook button. The phone didn't find many takers. Now HTC is again trying its hand on a social network based phone. Nothing can be said about HTC Myst as of now. There might be few facebook buffs who might buy this device otherwise it might have the same fate as HTC Status. It sports an 4.3 inch 720p HD display with 320 ppi pixel density. Talking about the hardware the phone has a 1.5 GHZ dual Core Snapdragon MSM8960, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB Internal storage with no micro SD card support. The storage space on the device might disappoint some as there is micro SD slot for Expansion. On the camera front the device will have an 8 MP Rear Camera & A 1.6 MP Front Camera. Its not clear whether the Ultrapixel technology introduced with the latest HTC One has been used or not.

On the connectivity front it has the usual Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, LTE & HSPA. It might come with some customized Facebook applications for its users. The device will be powered by Android Jelly Bean. The Exact release date is not known yet. HTC would be hoping to get some success with an Facebook phone this time.
